Let me get this out of the way immediately: I’m sorry.

Due to some recent changes in the technical audio requirements for Google Hangouts on Air (the platform through which I record and publish STRAIGHT SHOOT), I was unable to have this week’s show with ROH and PWG standout Roderick Strong.

This is frustrating for a lot of reasons, not least of which being that as a talent I’ve followed for years, Roddy was one of the guests I’ve been most excited to talk to on STRAIGHT SHOOT. Tack on to that the fact that Raw was really fun and super interesting tonight, I had been promoting Roddy’s appearance for a week and I try really hard to treat STRAIGHT SHOOT like a job and responsibility, and, well…I’m at least as frustrated as you are and probably 1,000 times more embarrassed.

If you’re a regular STRAIGHT SHOOT viewer or listener, I hope you already know that this isn’t par for the course. And if you were going to make this your FIRST episode of STRAIGHT SHOOT, well, shit, I’m really sorry. I hope you’ll give us another shot next week when I have former WWE Creative Team member Andrew Goldstein and my STRAIGHT SHOOT RETRO cohost Jeff Schiller on immediately following Raw.
