SummerSlam is one of the biggest shows of the year for WWE, so in acknowledgment of that fact, I went out and got you, the loyal STRAIGHT SHOOT fans, the SHOOT PEOPLE, the STRAIGHT SHOOT SOCIETY, one of the biggest guests we’ve had on the show yet. This Sunday, August 17, 2014, immediately after SummerSlam, The World’s Smartest Rasslin Talk show welcomes The Gaslight Anthem’s Alex Levine!

For the past eight years, The Gaslight Anthem has been a crowd-pleasing, guitar-slinging rock band, with punk, folk and Americana influences. The Jersey natives have even played on stage with Bruce Springsteen, so you know they’re legit. Throughout countless tours, however, bassist Alex Levine has remained an avid wrestling fan, so it’s fitting that he’ll be coming on STRAIGHT SHOOT to discuss SummerSlam, especially since the show takes place the Sunday after the release of the band’s newest album, Get Hurt.

I’m extremely excited for this episode of STRAIGHT SHOOT, so make sure to RSVP and get those questions in!
